Ubuntu Step by Step Guide for L2TP VPN
 

Step 1:


In terminal, Add the following repositories to your Operating System.
apt-add-repository ppa:werner
jaeger/ppa-werner-vpn
apt-get update
apt-get install l2tp-ipsec-vpn
reboot

Step 2:


Click No.
Click No
 

Step 3:


Click on the Network icon and click Edit Connections.
Click on the Network icon and click Edit Connections.
 

Step 4:


Enter your administrative password.

Click Add.

For Connection name put vpn_24vc.

Go to the IPsec tab, and enter the Host Name we provided you in the activation email as the Remote Server. For the shared-key enter 12345678.

Go to the L2TP tab, check Length bit.
